What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?
Samantha Kingston has it all: the world's most crush-worthy boyfriend, three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High—from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life.
Instead, it turns out to be her last.
Then she gets a second chance. Seven chances, in fact. Reliving her last day during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death—and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.

Wow, after reading this book I don't really know what to say. Not because the book was bad, it was an amazing book, there is just a lot to absorb. So many directions, themes. So much to think about. You never really think about your life in that way.

Make sure you grab some tissues, you will need them. The end really got me, she finally changed, got everything right, and fell in love, for real.

I don't want to give away any details, so all i can leave you with is.. You have to read this book. I feel like I've been saying this a lot lately. But it's true.

Absolutely 5 stars, Awesome read

WINNER: The Billionaires Unexpected Heir

The giveaway has ended and the winners have been chosen! Thank you so much to everyone who entered, and a big thank you to Harlequin for donating the books to be given away! Since there weren't many entrants so I decided to do something a bit different. I wrote all the names on little pieces of paper, folded them and put them in a bucket. My three year old is always eager to help, so I had him pull four names out of the bucket. This is what he pulled:

Jessica@ Peace Love Books

 AliyaPM@ A Story To Love

Congrats to the winners! I have sent an email to you all!

Dead Reckoning

Title: Dead Reckoning
Series: Sookie Stackhouse #11
Author: Charlaine Harris
Genre: Mystery, Romance
Format: Hardcover, 336pp
Source: Library
Author Website

With her knack for being in trouble's way, Sookie witnesses the firebombing of Merlotte's, the bar where she works. Since Sam Merlotte is now known to be two-natured, suspicion falls immediately on the anti-shifters in the area. Sookie suspects otherwise, but her attention is divided when she realizes that her lover Eric Northman and his "child" Pam are plotting to kill the vampire who is now their master. Gradually, Sookie is drawn into the plot-which is much more complicated than she knows...

I found this book seriously lacking. It seemed like this was just restating what has happened in the past two books. Eric's preoccupied, Jannalynn is vicious, Tara's pregnant, Claude is an ass.The huge fight at the end just didn't do it for me. That's usually the part I cant wait for. I feel like there used to be more mystery. I figured there would be more conflict with Sandra Pelt. There would be so  much action, it would build up to the end and throw it in your face and it left you happy that you tagged along for the ride. Maybe I need to take a break from reading. As much as I would hate it. It seems like reading is a chore now. the books don't grad me like they used to. Has anyone else ever felt this way? I don't know whats happening to me. It's taking me forever to read some of the books I used to love. Does anyone else feel this way? Are the authors dragging out the books with nothing to write? Let me know what you think in the comments below.

Reminder:  The Billionaires Unexpected Heir Giveaway ends 6.29.11 (5 days). Please enter and spread the word!

Lover Unleashed

Title: Lover Unleashed
Series: Black Dagger Brotherhood #9
Author: J.R. Ward
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Format: Hardcover, 512pp
Source: Library
Author Website

Payne, twin sister of Vishous, is cut from the same dark, seductive cloth as her brother. Imprisoned for eons by their mother, the Scribe Virgin, she finally frees herself-only to face a devastating injury. Manuel Manello, M.D., is drafted by the Brotherhood to save her as only he can-but when the human surgeon and the vampire warrior meet, their two worlds collide in the face of their undeniable passion. With so much working against them, can love prove stronger than the birthright and the biology that separates them?

Let me start out by saying J.R. Ward is my favorite author. I completely fell in love with the Brothers. So much that I felt depressed when I finished the newest book. When the release date came around I knew I had to rush out and buy it. I didn't and it was killing me. I was at the library a week ago, browsing through the 'New Books' shelf and I spotted it! I was so excited, I almost did a happy dance right there in the middle of the floor. I couldn't wait to get it home and start reading. I get home put some cartoons on for my son and dive into reading. I don't know what was so different about this book but I just couldn't get into a rhythm. I hate to say this but I didn't like this book. To me it seemed like J.R. was trying to hard to be 'Gangsta' in this one. I think there was too much going on.
My first complaint is Vishous,  Maybe we didn't get to know him very good in his book but I thought he was very different in Lover Unleashed. He just didn't seem like himself. I don't know. Everything was just off for me. It took me 8 days to read this book, which is unusual for me. Usually I can knock out a Brotherhood book in two days.

Did anyone else fell this way?

Just a quick reminder,
I still have 4 copies of The Billionaires Unexpected Heir up for grabs.
The giveaway ends on 6/29. You can enter here.
