<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Synopsis</b></span><br />
<span style="color: #444444;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;">Sebastian’s
haunting gaze penetrated my very being, revealing my secrets, fears,
and desires. My name rolled off his tongue, tempting me to take exactly
what I hungered for. His world was laced with inconvenient truths; mine
was saturated with sweet, beautiful lies. Sebastian promised me nothing
of a happy ending. The demonic spawn with an angelic voice could derail
my only purpose for living, but still I didn’t want to look away. My
curiosity would certainly be my undoing—but then again, death was
inevitable.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;">Life perceived by the soulless ones…</span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;">Created by
the unorthodox hospital known as the Ringer, Catherine’s fated to die on
her next birthday. As a soulless spawn, her only purpose for existence
is to be the perfect organ donor for her terminal progenitor. Although
Catherine has never met her progenitor, an unexplainable bond ties their
lives together forever. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;">Catherine
waits patiently for death, until Sebastian gives her a taste of
something more, something worth fighting for. The uncontrollable,
consuming passion they share begins to grow dangerous as he reveals the
Ringer’s most guarded secrets—secrets they’d kill to keep.</span></div>

<span style="color: white;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Review</b></span></span><br />
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;"><br />This book is
amazing! A little confusing in the beginning. I think the point of that
is because we start out knowing as much as Cat does. But around chapter
6, I couldn't put the book down! You have so many feelings circling around this one character. </span></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;">Sarah has created a world that absolutely terrifies me. Where people are made in petri dishes. The whole point of their life is to save someone else.</span><span style="color: #444444;"> Would I be okay with killing a child that looks just like the one I'm trying to save?</span><span style="color: #444444;"> As a parent, I completely understand. But to have the roles reversed, I'm not so sure. If I was a spawn would I really want to die to save someone I've never met? To go through the painful growth spurts, being poked and prodded everyday, knowing from day one you only have 5 years to live.</span><br />
<span style="color: #444444;">Catherine would do anything for her progenitor, as would any spawn. Until she finds something more to live for. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<span style="color: #444444;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #444444;">I just know you will get sucked into this life Sarah has created! I cannot wait to read book 2!</span><br />

<br />
<br />
From the moment they met, Jenna knew Reece would break her heart, but she never dreamed it would happen like this. Jenna is left shattered and broken. When life becomes too painful to deal with and she feels completely alone, there’s only one person to help her pick up the pieces and move on. The one person she doesn’t want to turn to. The one person she promised to stay away from. Tyler. Can Jenna put aside everything she knows about him and let Tyler help heal her broken heart?<br />

<span style="color: #444444;"><span style="font-size: large;"><b>Review</b></span></span><br />
<br />
Let me just say that this author is amazing! She weaves a story so real you cant put the book down! It's so easy to believe that these characters are real. Even when the book is over you keep thinking about them. If you haven't read any of Danielle's books you should. They are incredible!<br />
<br />
<i>Breaking Waves</i> begins the morning after <i>Heart Waves</i> ends. Jenna wakes up and Reece is gone. He's acting so strange. Tyler has everyone on edge and Reece has completely lost it. You feel just as confused as Jenna does. Reece keeps repeating himself. Then the unthinkable happens.<br />
<br />
Jenna does what anyone in her position would do, but there were times when I wanted to yell out to her, and tell her to look deeper. "He was trying to tell you something!"<br />
<br />
Oh man, I was on the edge of my seat through most of this book. I love these kind of books but at the same time I hate them, because how do you tell someone why you liked the book without giving away details? I cant give anything away because it will ruin the whole book! Just go pick it up now! I cannot wait for book 3. Please hurry!<br />

<b><span style="color: #444444;">Bio:</span></b><br />
<br />
Danielle Sibarium grew up as an only child of divorced parents in Brooklyn, New York. Her imagination was developed at an early age. Surrounded by stuffed animals and imaginary friends, she transported herself into a fantasy world
full of magic and wonder. Books were the gateway between her play world and reality. On any given summer afternoon she became Snow White sweeping and cooking for the dwarfs, or Cinderella waiting for the prince.<br />
<br />
Danielle always loved dialogue and in elementary school began writing plays and short stories. This is when she began to understand she could not only bring
her fantastical world to life for herself, but she could enchant others as well.
And so she wrote. She wrote and wrote and wrote.<br />
<br />
Sadly the first piece she ever sent out for publication of any sort was a
letter to the editor of The Home News Tribune. It was a piece thanking the first
responders for their bravery and selflessness on Sept 11th. It was chosen as letter of the week.<br />
<br />
In 2007 Danielle collaborated with Charlotte Doreen Small to write songs for her CD More. Danielle wrote the lyrics for Take My Hand, and Goodbye, while Charlotte contributed the melody.<br />
<br />
In October 2011 Danielle’s debut novel For Always was released. She has since released Heart Waves and the second book in the Heart Waves series, Breaking Waves.<br />
<br />
Danielle graduated from Farleigh Dickinson University with honors, and
currently lives in New Jersey with her husband and three children.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">When and why did you begin writing?</span></b><br />
<br />
I began writing regularly and knew that I loved writing in the sixth grade.
Writing was my way of going from wall flower to blossoming star. I always had an inner dialogue going on in my head. I felt like in order to get it to stop I had to
get it down on paper. But then that dialogue was replaced by a new one.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">What inspired you to write your first book?</span></b><br />
<br />
I dealt with a lot of death growing up and I wanted to write about someone like that, a protagonist that must overcome obstacles of chance and her own self-doubt. A girl who doesn’t see her true potential, but uses the experiences she has gone through to find a reserve of perseverance and strength.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">What books have most influenced your life most?</span></b><br />
<br />
When I was young, like preteen young, I read a lot of John Saul, Nathaniel, Brainchild, Suffer the Children, and I learned about allowing your dark side to shine through your writing. And then as an adult, Twilight inspired me to write
all the time, each and every day.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">Do you have any current projects you’re working
on?</span></b><br />
<br />
YES! Besides the final book in the Heart Waves series, I’m very excited about a single title NA contemporary I’m working on. This book is a tuff stuff novel
that deals with date rape and the aftermath. Carly Cavanough is left battered, her trust betrayed by everyone but the boy she’s been infatuated with since the
first day of high school, Ryan Crowley. After Ryan finds Carly, he does all he can to
help her move on and regain control of her life. I’m very excited about this book.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">Is there anything you find particularly
challenging in your writing?</span></b><br />
<br />
The most challenging part of writing is having three wonderful and active
children that occupy almost every waking moment. Finding time to write is THE most challenging part for me.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">How long does it take you to write a book?</span></b><br />
<br />
This is a really difficult question for me to answer. Each one has been very different. For Always being the longest because I redid the entire beginning and end, years after I first wrote it. Heart Waves took about a year and a
half, Breaking Waves took over a year, but I worked on it simultaneously with the NA book I’m finishing now.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">What do you think makes a good story?</span></b><br />
<br />
I think relatable, imperfect characters and a healthy dose of angst are
helpful, along with a gripping narration.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">Where is your favorite place to write?</span></b><br />
<br />
I love to write by the water, but I almost never get a chance to write there.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">If you could jump into a book, and live in that
world... Which would it be?</span></b><br />
<br />
I’d probably have to go with Harry Potter. I’d really love to ride a broom and
mix up some potions that would hopefully not blow up in my face.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: #444444;">Do you have any advice for other writers?</span></b><br />
<br />
Read incessantly, write daily, and revise, revise, revise. Write what you are passionate about, not what you think the market is currently dictating. Markets change. Be open to the ever fluid times. The publishing industry has and will continue to transform. We have not seen the finished product, so don’t get hung up on the traditional ideals.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
No one is like Daemon Black.
When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on.
But even he can’t protect his family from the danger of trying to free those they love.
After everything, I’m no longer the same Katy. I’m different... And I’m not sure what that will mean in the end. When each step we take in discovering the truth puts us in the path of the secret organization responsible for torturing and testing hybrids, the more I realize there is no end to what I’m capable of. The death of someone close still lingers, help comes from the most unlikely source, and friends will become the deadliest of enemies, but we won’t turn back. Even if the outcome will shatter our worlds forever.
Together we’re stronger... and they know it.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
USA TODAY Bestselling author, Jennifer L. Armentrout, lives in Martinsburg, West Virginia. All the rumors you’ve heard about her state aren’t true. When she’s not hard at work writing, she spends her time reading, working out, watching really bad zombie movies, pretending to write, and hanging out with her husband and her Jack Russell, Loki. Her dreams of becoming an author started in algebra class where she spent most of her time writing short stories….which explains her dismal grades in math. Jennifer writes young adult paranormal, science fiction, fantasy, and contemporary romance. She also writes adult romance under the name J. Lynn. </div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Synopsis</b></span><br />
<br />
<div>
Trapped in the underground theater world of 1890s New Orleans, Hale
Ferrer has only one goal: escape. But not without Teeny, the
orphan-girl she rescued from the streets and promised to protect.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Freddie Lovel, Hale's wealthy Parisian suitor, seems
to be the easy solution. If only his touch could arouse her interest
like Beau's, the penniless stagehand who captures her heart.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Denying her fears, Hale is poised to choose love until an
evil lurking in their cabaret-home launches a chain of events
that could cost her everything.</div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Review</b></span></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
Leigh is the author of <a href="http://thebloggingbook.blogspot.com/2012/09/review-truth-about-faking.html"><i>The Truth about Faking</i></a>, which I absolutely loved, so when she asked me to review this book I was super excited! This book did not let me down. It was absolutely amazing! Leigh is such a talented writer. Her words make you feel like you are right there in the story, her characters are so believable. If you ever get a chance to read one of her books, do it! You will not be disappointed. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I have never read a book with two love interest where I couldn't choose just one. Usually I immediately fall for one and the other I can't stand. I do have to say, I rooted for Beau a little more than Freddie only because he tried so hard to get Hale to choose him. He got a second job and found a house, he knew Hale's real story. As for Freddie, he has money and a house a high paying job. But Hale has to act around him, she can't be herself. Freddie loves Hale so much, I thought there had to be more too it. </div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
This is a gripping story of a girl who has to grow up too fast. Only seventeen and taking care of twelve year old Teeny, an orphan-girl she rescued from the streets and promised to protect. Torn between duty and her true love. I understand why she does some of the things she has to do. My heart broke for her and the things she had to go through. You have to read this story! </div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Synopsis</b></span><br />
<br />
<span id="freeText6283468740901225844">What if you lost your
true soul mate, the one person in life you were meant to be with? Would
your love ever truly die? Not if you’re Noah Hartman, who refuses to let
go of Robin after she inexplicably abandons their love and disappears
from his life seemingly forever, her hidden secret yet to be discovered.<br /><br />And
when you finally accept your fate and do your best to move on with your
life, what do you say when the unthinkable happens: your true love
Robin reappears as your wedding ceremony to another woman is about to
commence, looks deep into your soul with her loving, tear-filled eyes,
and tells you the one thing you’ve desperately longed to hear for all of
these years?<br /><br />But the ending to this heart-wrenching love story
has yet to be written, as Noah, old and sick in a hospital bed, tells
his story of love and loss to Josh, a wise orderly at Mount Sinai
Hospital. As his family members arrive to bid him goodbye, Noah
discovers a far greater truth about his past, present, and future.
Things are definitely not as they appear as the pieces of a shattered
love are put back together in the remarkable final chapter of Noah’s
life.</span><br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;">Review</span></b><br />
<br />
<br />
Wow! I definitely did not expect the book to end that way. It caught me off guard and I even teared up a little bit. It made the whole book that much more heart wrenching. <br />
<br />
In the beginning it was a little confusing for me. The way it goes back and forth from past to present, sometimes with no warning. I had to back track and reread a couple times to make sure I didn't miss anything.<br />
<br />
I understand the whole you love who you love thing but if I was Noah, and Robin treated me like that I would kick her to the curb. So many times I wanted to reach into the book and slap her. Then other times my heart broke for her because of all she went through. <br />
<br />
Over all this is a great Romance. Any fan of Nicholas sparks will absolutely adore Sebastian Cole.<br />

<div style="font-family: inherit;">
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="font-family: inherit;">
<span style="font-size: small;">This is such a cute story! This is the kind of romance book I like to read! The description pretty much sums up the whole book. I can't say any more or I will give the whole thing away! The twist at the end is just the icing on the cake! You should really go pick up this book right now. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">In the opening of the book, we meet Harley. She is such a great character! We were all that age once, and its fun to reminisce of the days when we were boy crazy. You think you've found your prince only to discover our little girl minds have tricked us. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">I immediately fell in love with Jason! He is so sweet. The creek parts are my favorite! </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: small;">I think this book could easily become a series. I know I would love to get to know this little town better!</span><br />
<span style="font-size: small;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: small;"> Overall, I absolutely loved this book! And I think you will too! </span><br />

<blockquote>
Halifax, 1876. On the death of her mother and sister, Isabelle Gibson is
left to fend for herself and her brother in a privately-run workhouse.
After the matron's son attempts to rape her, Isabelle decides to escape
him and a life of drudgery by agreeing to marry a moorland farmer she
has never met. But this man, Farrell, is a drunkard and a bully in
constant feud with his landlord, Ethan Harrington. When Farrell bungles a
robbery and deserts her, Isabelle and Ethan are thrown together as she
struggles to save the farm. Both are married and must hide their growing
love. But despite the secrecy, Isabelle draws strength from Ethan as
faces from the past return to haunt her and a tragedy is set to strike
that will change all of their lives forever.</blockquote>

She has taken some time out of her busy schedule to answer a few questions for us, and she has also been gracious enough to giveaway 2 copies of Always A Hero. The cool thing is the winners get to choose which format they want! That's right! You can choose eBook or Print! This woman is amazing! Okay, Now on to the interview!<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: black;">
Tell us a short Bio about yourself:</div>
<br />
I always wanted to write, and wrote my first book in sixth grade and my<br />
mother still has it. In high school I was the editor of my school newspaper<br />
and thought I wanted to be a journalist, but my shyness made interviewing<br />
almost impossible. So I decided that journalism wasn’t the career for me.<br />
<br />
After spending five years in the Army, where I met and married my<br />
husband, John and started a family, the bug to write came again. Watching<br />
the antics of my four children, I decided to get a degree in Children’s<br />
Literature and write children’s books, but even as I wrote short stories for<br />
my children I didn’t pursue publishing them.<br />
<br />
Then came the Harry Potter phenomenon and I began writing Harry Potter<br />
fan fiction under the pseudonym of Professor Scroll. Reading the reviews<br />
on my stories gave me the impetus to sign up for NaNoWriMo (National<br />
Novel Writer Month) and cram a years’ worth of writing into the month of<br />
November.<br />
<br />
This novel is the third one I’ve written during NaNoWriMo.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
What inspired you with the idea for this Book?</div>
<br />
The prologue wrote itself one evening. The rest was a compilation of two<br />
different projects.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
What was the easiest/hardest part about writing this book?</div>
<br />
The hardest part was naming the characters. Rebecca’s name changed<br />
four times.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
Is there anything you wish was different about the book?</div>
<br />
I am never finished. I am always tweaking what I write. When I was writing<br />
Harry Potter fan fiction, when I received a review that someone would have<br />
liked me to expand on a subject, I would. It’s much harder to do that with a<br />
printed book.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
What's a typical working day like for you? When and where do you write? Do you set a daily writing goal?</div>
<br />
Most of this book was written during the month of November. I have a<br />
regular 9-5 job so I usually write in the wee hours of the morning. I am a<br />
night owl. I also find that I write a lot during car trips while bouncing ideas<br />
off my husband. Paper and pen are never far away.<br />
<div style="color: black;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: black;">
What’s the best thing about being an author?</div>
<br />
I’m not sure yet. I was scared spitless, but I loved my first book signing.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
Do you have any favorite authors or favorite books?</div>
<br />
That’s a hard one. J K Rowling – of course. Janet Evanovich - the<br />
Stephanie Plum Series – they are so amusing. I just sit and giggle my way<br />
through them. Tolkien. Tom Clancy.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
If you could jump into a book and live in that world... Which would it be?</div>
<br />
Harry Potter – as Professor Scroll I did just that in my story Witches and<br />
Wizards and Trains – Oh My! Which can be found on the HP fan fiction site -<br />
Sink Into Your Eyes<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
What's one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?</div>
<br />
Write.!<br />
<br />
Write every day and don’t let anyone talk to out of it.<br />
<br />
Take writing courses. You can always learn grammar, punctuation and<br />
spelling or use your spellcheck option on your word processing program.<br />
But only you can tell the story you have bouncing around your head.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
Any other books in the works? Goals for future projects?</div>
<br />
Yes. The project I’m working on is about a serial killer. At the moment I’m<br />
thinking this will be a three book series.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
When and why did you begin writing?</div>
<br />
The dream has been with me since I was 11 when I wrote my first book.<br />
Too much imagination! When I read a book, I always come away with<br />
questions or that I would have like to see this or that scene expanded.<br />
Hence – fan fiction.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
How many books have you written?</div>
<br />
Including fan fiction – 12 so far.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
Is this book based on someone you know, or events in your own life?</div>
<br />
No, not really. The only similarities are that I and my husband were<br />
both in the Army and my husband loves Spiderman – hence Paul<br />
having ‘spidey-sense’.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
How do you react to a bad review?</div>
<br />
I cringe. Read it again and move on. We learn from our mistakes.<br />
<br />
<div style="color: black;">
Where is your favorite place to write?</div>
<br />
My home office. Everywhere is there are too many distractions.<br />
<br />
<span style="color: magenta;"></span><br />
<br />
Thank you so much for taking time out of you day to answer some questions for us! I have had a blast!<br />
<br />

This is from Jenna's POV.<br />

<br />
<div class="Body1">
<i>Thank you so
much Ashley for having me here today! I am so excited!</i></div>
<div class="Body1">

<i>I'm not psychic.
It's important to understand that. I don't pretend to be either. I just pick up
energy and interpret it. That's what I was doing when I met Reece Walton. We
were at a party, one I didn't want to be at, and I became the main attraction.
I got to bust this total loser for cheating on his girlfriend, so I didn't mind
too much. Especially since I owed him for the one date we went on. As if you
can call parking in a dark desolate location in hopes of getting . . . I

<div class="Body1">
<i>It was after his
teary eyed girlfriend ran from him that I heard Reece's voice. I stopped dead
in my tracks. It was the most beautiful sound I ever heard. Reece slipped his
ring in my hand. I knew right then and there I would fall desperately,
hopelessly in love with him. I also knew in that moment he would break and
shatter my heart. </i></div>
<div class="Body1">
<br /></div>
<div class="Body1">
<i>Torn between the
promise of a once in a lifetime love and soul crushing heartbreak I had a
choice to make. At least I tried to convince myself I had a choice. I struggled
with keeping Reece at a safe distance while at the same time enjoying every
minute with him. Until the night I saw him at the boardwalk walking with
another girl. I hated him at that moment, but not as much as I hated myself, or
her. That was the night I gave in. Even knowing he could very well destroy me,
I knew I had to be with him. Already he possessed my heart. He was my soul
mate. </i></div>

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Synopsis</b></span><br />
<br />
Jenna Kingsley has a gift. She knows things. With a simple touch she can
pick up personal information from jewelry or objects. While at a
neighbor’s party, a voice mesmerizes her. Jenna is momentarily frozen as
a ring is placed in her hand. White electricity surges through her and a
dire prediction is made. “It’s like Romeo and Juliet. You’re going to
break my heart.” <br />
<br />
From the moment they meet, Jenna is enchanted and entranced with Reece
Walton. She’s thrilled to learn he’s spending the summer two houses away
from hers. Every moment they spend together is magical. But she can’t
get the prediction out of her mind. As the summer draws to a close and
secrets are revealed, can Jenna get past the fear of being left with a
broken heart to live in the moment with Reece or will her fear of being
hurt fulfill the prophecy?<br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Review</b></span><br />
<br />
Let me start out by saying this book is amazing! Danielle has a way with words that makes you lose yourself in the world she has created. This book had me captivated from the very beginning. I didn't want to put the book down. When I had to, I couldn't wait to get back to reading. For me that makes an amazing story. <br />
<br />
The characters were so easy to connect with. They were down to earth, like someone you could bump into on the street. That always makes the story more believable. I am a sucker for romance, and this book lays it on thick! I can not wait for the second book to come out!<br />
<br />
I can not say enough about this book with out giving away all the details. So take my advice and go pick this one up!<br />

<span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><i>A captivating novel of rich spectacle and royal scandal, </i><i>Days of Splendor, Days of Sorrow</i><i> spans fifteen years in the fateful reign of Marie Antoinette, France’s most legendary and notorious queen</i><i>.<br />
<br />
Paris, 1774. At the tender age of eighteen, Marie Antoinette ascends to
the French throne alongside her husband, Louis XVI. But behind the
extravagance of the young queen’s elaborate silk gowns and dizzyingly
high coiffures, she harbors deeper fears for her
future and that of the Bourbon dynasty.<br />
<br />
From the early growing pains of marriage to the joy of conceiving a
child, from her passion for Swedish military attaché Axel von Fersen to
the devastating Affair of the Diamond Necklace, Marie Antoinette tries
to rise above the gossip and rivalries that encircle
her. But as revolution blossoms in America, a much larger threat looms
beyond the gilded gates of Versailles—one that could sweep away the
French monarchy forever.</i></span></div>

<br />
<b>A seductive beauty turns the tables on a gentleman gaming for the
guiltiest of pleasures in this rich and sensual Regency romance from
beloved newcomer Cecilia Grant.</b><br />
<br />
Lydia Slaughter
understands the games men play—both in and out of the bedroom. Not
afraid to bend the rules to suit her needs, she fleeces Will Blackshear
outright. The Waterloo hero had his own daring agenda for the gaming
tables of London’s gentlemen’s clubs. But now he antes up for a wager of
wits and desire with Lydia, the streetwise temptress who keeps him at
arm’s length.<br />
<br />
A kept woman in desperate straits, Lydia has a
sharp mind and a head for numbers. She gambles on the sly, hoping to win
enough to claim her independence. An alliance with Will at the tables
may be a winning proposition for them both. But the arrangement involves
dicey odds with rising stakes, sweetened with unspoken promise of
fleshly delights. And any sleight of hand could find their hearts
betting on something neither can afford to risk: love.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;">
<img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizXSvtTGfKUdEOM00On3dhXK5mfIbidB66oznfK9cyiqn6bAd6gPks_KSFZ3kH6CENwklLuvYuduccnU9Jd5Bb8wcJVZLn2tLQtUsiIRcaxl-Xw740GpwHSAEFqw88WSezGMYkl6hmLahQ/s1600/wife+22.jpg" /></div>
<br />
<b>For fans of Helen Fielding’s <i>Bridget Jones’s Diary</i> and Allison Pearson’s <i>I Don’t Know How She Does It</i> comes an irresistible novel of a woman losing herself . . . and finding herself again . . . in the middle of her life.</b><br />
<br />
Maybe
it was those extra five pounds I’d gained. Maybe it was because I was
about to turn the same age my mother was when I lost her. Maybe it was
because after almost twenty years of marriage my husband and I seemed to
be running out of things to say to each other.<br />
<br />
But when the
anonymous online study called “Marriage in the 21st Century” showed up
in my inbox, I had no idea how profoundly it would change my life. It
wasn’t long before I was assigned both a pseudonym (Wife 22) and a
caseworker (Researcher 101). <br />
<br />
And, just like that, I found myself answering questions.<br />
<br />
7. Sometimes I tell him he’s snoring when he’s not snoring so he’ll
sleep in the guest room and I can have the bed all to myself.<br />
61.
Chet Baker on the tape player. He was cutting peppers for the salad. I
looked at those hands and thought, I am going to have this man’s
children.<br />
67. To not want what you don’t have. What you <i>can’t</i> have. What you <i>shouldn’t</i> have.<br />
32. That if we weren’t careful, it was possible to forget one another.<br />
<br />
Before the study, my life was an endless blur of school lunches and
doctor’s appointments, family dinners, budgets, and trying to discern
the fastest-moving line at the grocery store. I was Alice Buckle: spouse
of William and mother to Zoe and Peter, drama teacher and Facebook
chatter, downloader of memories and Googler of solutions.<br />
<br />
But
these days, I’m also Wife 22. And somehow, my anonymous correspondence
with Researcher 101 has taken an unexpectedly personal turn. Soon, I’ll
have to make a decision—one that will affect my family, my marriage, my
whole life. But at the moment, I’m too busy answering questions. <br />
<br />
As it turns out, confession can be a very powerful aphrodisiac.<br />

<br />
A deliciously potent tale of one woman’s quest for self-discovery.<br />
<br />
Rowan Cassidy likes to be in charge—especially in her personal life.
As a mistress at Club Privé, the most exclusive bondage/S & M club
on the West Coast, Rowan can live out her dominant fantasies safely,
and with complete control—until the night Christian Thorne walks in.
Self-confident and sophisticated, he’s a natural dominant if Rowan’s
ever seen one. Yet she can’t stop thinking about him and imagining his
touch.<br />
<br />
Christian has returned home, hoping to break free from
his dissatisfaction and malaise—and discovers the cure in Rowan. He’s
dying to get his skilled hands on her and watch her surrender, to
unlock the mystery of her that captivates him. Determined to be her
master, he makes Rowan a daring proposition: give herself over to him
for thirty days.<br />

Charity Barlow wished to marry for love. The rakish Lord Robert wishes
only to tuck her away in the country once an heir is produced.<br />
<br />
A country-bred girl, Charity Barlow suddenly finds herself married to a
marquess, an aloof stranger determined to keep his thoughts and feelings
to himself. She and Lord Robert have been forced by circumstances to
marry, and she feels sure she is not the woman he would have selected
given a choice.<br />
<br />
The Marquess of St. Malin makes it plain to her that their marriage is
merely for the procreation of an heir, and once that is achieved, he
intends to continue living the life he enjoyed before he met her.<br />
<br />
While he takes up his life in London once more, Charity is left to
wander the echoing corridors of St. Malin House, when she isn’t thrown
into the midst of the mocking Haute Ton.<br />
<br />
Charity is not at all sure she likes her new social equals, as they live
by their own rules, which seem rather shocking. She’s not at all sure
she likes her new husband either, except for his striking appearance and
the dark desire in his eyes when he looks at her, which sends her
pulses racing.<br />
<br />
Lord Robert is a rake and does not deserve her love, but neither does she wish to live alone.<br />
<br />
Might he be suffering from a sad past? Seeking to uncover it, Charity
attempts to heal the wound to his heart, only to make things worse
between them.<br />
<br />
Will he ever love her?<br />

Lady Muir, has seen her share of tragedy, especially since a freak
accident took her husband much too soon. Content in a quiet life with
friends and family, the young widow has no desire to marry again. But
when Hugo, Lord Trentham, scoops her up in his arms after a fall, she
feels a sensation that both shocks and emboldens her.<br />
<br />
Hugo never intends to kiss Lady Muir, and frankly, he judges her to be a
spoiled, frivolous—if beautiful—aristocrat. He is a gentleman in name
only: a soldier whose bravery earned him a title; a merchant’s son who
inherited his wealth. He is happiest when working
the land, but duty and title now demand that he finds a wife. He doesn’t
wish to court Lady Muir, nor have any role in the society games her
kind thrives upon. Yet Hugo has never craved a woman more; Gwen’s
guileless manner, infectious laugh, and lovely face
have ruined him for any other woman. He wants her, but will she have
him?<br />
<br />
The hard, dour ex-military officer who so gently carried Gwen to safety
is a man who needs a lesson in winning a woman’s heart. Despite her
cautious nature, Gwen cannot ignore the attraction. As their two vastly
different worlds come together, both will be
challenged in unforeseen ways. But through courtship and seduction, Gwen
soon finds that with each kiss, and with every caress, she cannot
resist Hugo’s devotion, his desire, his love, and the promise of
forever.</i></span><span style="font-family: Calibri,sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><span style="font-family: inherit; font-size: small;"><span style="color: black;"> </span></span></span></div>

Title: Always A Hero<br />
Author: Valerie Franklin<br />
Genre: Romance<br />

<span style="font-size: large;"><b>Synopsis</b></span><br />
<br />
<span id="freeText12051625793114726125">Terror comes in many forms…
<br />
<br />For Rebecca it began before her husband was deployed to Iraq. In her
misery, she wanted him to hurt as much as she was hurting, so she
hurled hateful words that once said, could not be unsaid. In the four
months since she stood with their small son, Sean, at her side on the
blistering tarmac, a fake smile pasted on her lips and waved until the
plane was a tiny speck in the sky, she had spent hours trying to find a
way to apologize, but she found it too hard to apologize in a letter.
<br />
<br />She wished that she could have rewound the clock and that she had
thought before blurting out that she wanted a separation. It was only
after shouting the words and seeing her husband’s reaction that she
understood just how much words can wound.
<br />
<br />For Paul, the words cut deeper into his heart than any bullet. He
had to go where he was assigned; the Army didn’t wait for any man. In
his mind he understood that it was stress speaking and not his wife’s
heart, but knowing that he had to go with the words hanging between them
cut him to ribbons and made his heart bleed.
<br />
<br />At first, he would scan each letter in fear that he would see the
dreaded words that she had filed for divorce, but that letter never
came. Contrastingly, his wife’s letters were full of everyday events
that he was missing, pictures of Sean, and information about his
parents. None of the letters had contained an apology, but Rebecca was
writing each day, which gave him hope for the future.
<br />
<br />Until Fate intervened tearing both of their worlds apart.
<br />
<br />Her husband, her lover, the father of their children was reported as
Missing In Action in Iraq, and all Rebecca wanted to do was crawl into a
hole and pray for his safe return…but it was a luxury she was being
denied. With Paul already missing, now their home, their possessions,
her sense of security…everything they had built together was
systematically being ripped from her. Her safety net was gone leaving
her isolated and vulnerable…</span><br />

<br />
<br />
<span id="freeText12051625793114726125">Mrs. Franklin wastes no time getting to the good stuff. You start out with a few details, just to get you sucked in, then she lays it on you. Good luck trying to put the book down after that. </span><br />
<br />
<span id="freeText12051625793114726125">I don't even want to imagine what it would be like to have a loved one in the military. I have a hard enough time with my husband leaving on business trips. That's two weeks at most. But there are people that go through it all the time. And reading this book has shone a whole new light on what these people go through. </span><br />
<br />
<span id="freeText12051625793114726125">The way Valerie describes the feelings and surroundings is wonderful. You get caught up in the story, you feel what the characters are going through, like you can relate to them. </span><br />
<br />
<span id="freeText12051625793114726125">This book is absolutely amazing. If you have not read it, I suggest you do that now. You will not be disappointed. </span><br />

<br />
Ever since the death of his <em>shellan</em>, Tohrment has been
unrecognizable from the vampire leader he once was. Physically emaciated
and heartbroken beyond despair, he has been brought back to the
Brotherhood by a self-serving fallen angel. Now, fighting once again
with ruthless vengeance, he is unprepared to face a new kind of tragedy.<br />
When
Tohr begins to see his beloved in his dreams—trapped in a cold,
isolated netherworld far from the peace and tranquility of the Fade—he
turns to the angel in hopes of saving the one he has lost. But because
Lassiter tells him he must learn to love another to free his former
mate, Tohr knows they are all doomed....<br />
Except then a female with a shadowed history begins to get through to him. Against the backdrop of the raging war with the <em>lessers</em>,

future…but can his heart let go and set all of them free?<br />
