Lover Revealed was a pretty good story. Butch O'Neal is an ex-homicide cop who never fit in. He is the only human ever to be in the inner circle of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. He wants to go even deeper and help fight the lessening society. He's got nothing to lose, or so he thinks. He's captured by the Omega, and left to die. He's found by a miracle, and only one thing can bring him back. But even love may not be enough to save him. This book is a page turner. It has a lot of twists and turns. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

Lover Awakened by J.R. Ward
Lover Awakened would have to be my absolute favorite out of all the BDB books. Zsadist has been through H-E-double-hockey-sticks and back. He was kidnapped when he was a baby, He was beaten and raped for centuries. Then his twin came to rescue him. Anger is his only companion and terror his only passion- until he rescues a beautiful female from the lessening society. Now Bella must help him overcome the wounds of his tortured past and find a future with her.

Lover Eternal by J.R. Ward
Lover Eternal made my cry like a baby. Be careful what you wish for, Mary Luce wanted to know what it was like for a guy to look at her with total adoration. Well, she got that and more when she bumped into Rhage. He was dangerous, animalistic, other worldly, and just plain HOT! Rhage didn't try to deny that pull between them, but Mary on the other hand didn't believe in miracles any more. She wasn't looking for love, she didn't want to get hurt. But no matter how hard she tried to stay away she couldn't.This book is a page turner, and then you wish you hadn't because then it's over.

Dark Lover by J.R. Ward
Title: Dark Lover (Black Dagger Brotherhood Series #1)
Author: J.R. Ward
Genre: Adult Paranormal Romance
Format: Paperback, 416pp
Author Website
Synopsis
In the shadows of the night in Caldwell, New York, there's a deadly turf war going on between vampires and their slayers. There exists a secret band of brothers like no other-six vampire warriors, defenders of their race. Yet none of them relishes killing more than Wrath, the leader of The Black Dagger Brotherhood.
The only purebred vampire left on earth, Wrath has a score to settle with the slayers who murdered his parents centuries ago. But, when one of his most trusted fighters is killed-leaving his half-breed daughter unaware of his existence or her fate-Wrath must usher her into the world of the undead-a world of sensuality beyond her wildest dreams.
Review
Dark Lover was the beginning of a beautiful friendship! Even thought this was the first book it wasn't the best. It took me no time at all to read this though. Beware it was very explicit, very steamy. It's the story of Beth Randall, an orphaned half-breed unaware of her heritage or her fate. A dangerously sexy man comes to her at night with shadows in his eyes. His tales of blood and fighting scare her but his touch ignites a drawing hunger in her that threatens to consume them both.

Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick
Title: Crescendo (The Hush, Hush Trilogy #2)
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Genre: Young Adult
Format: ARC, 432pp
Author Website
Synopsis
Nora should have know her life was far from perfect. Despite starting a relationship with her guardian angel, Patch (who, title aside, can be described anything but angelic), and surviving an attempt on her life, things are not looking up. Patch is starting to pull away and Nora can't figure out if it's for her best interest or if his interest has shifted to her arch-enemy Marcie Millar. Not to mention that Nora is haunted by images of her father and she becomes obsessed with finding out what really happened to him that night he left for Portland and never came home.
The farther Nora delves into the mystery of her father's death, the more she comes to question if her Nephilim blood line has something to do with it as well as why she seems to be in danger more than the average girl. Since Patch isn't answering her questions and seems to be standing in her way, she has to start finding the answers on her own. Relying too heavily on the fact that she has a guardian angel puts Nora at risk again and again. But can she really count on Patch or is he hiding secrets darker than she can even imagine?
Review
I was one of fifty lucky people to get an ARC from B&N. The only bad thing about ARC's is now I have to wait even longer for the next one to come out. Starting count down now!
I was a little disappointed that the beginning didn't keep me on the edge of my chair like Hush, Hush did, but the end made up for it. There were so many twists and turns my emotions didn't know what to think. Every time I though "this is the one. he did it." something else would come up and I'm like "no, maybe he did it?". I thought it was the perfect sequel to Hush, Hush. I love the friendship Nora and Vee have. Vee is so funny, and sometimes that's exactly what you need when nothing's going the way you want it. They are the kind of friends that are always there for each other no matter what. The kind that drop what they're doing and rush to the scene.
Crescendo made me laugh, made me cry, I was mad, happy and scared, and I got butterflies in my stomach. There was so much depth and description I felt like I was there though out the whole story. I would definitely recommend this series!

Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick
I have to tell you that I read this whole book ( 252 page ebook) in 7 hours. I started reading at 8 pm after my son went to sleep and stayed up until 3 am because I couldn't put it down. I love to read but I usually dont read that fast.
I love the Relationship between Patch and Nora. She can't deny there's a pull between them but she doesn't run to him like a love struck idiot. For some reason they always run into each other, he's always there when there's trouble, when she needs him most. Although she trusts her better instinct and tries to find out more about him, shes in over her head. The more she digs the crazier things get.
I thought this book would have been a romance, and there is some romance in there but it is definitely a mystery. I had so many emotions running through me, happy, scared, mad. I even got butterflies with some of the interactions between Patch and Nora. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend if they like mystery/romance.

For those of you who live in North Texas. I found a bookstore in Denton-Books & More- and I was in heaven. It's a used bookstore that sell mainly romances, their books are in excellent condition and they sell them for half the cover price! The best part is they stamp them and when you're done they will buy them back. They also sell/trade CD's, DVD's, Video Games, Records and Memorabilia. I will definitely go back!

For the love of books..
Reading a book is like stepping out of my world and in to another one. I love how a book can suck you in. It doesn't matter what you look like, you can be the Plain Jane woman that stops every mans heart, or the bad boy alpha male that just wants to find his true love. A book lets you put an image to the words you're reading. It's like you're the director and it's all up to you. No matter how stressed I am or whats going on in my life, I can open a book and forget all my worries. That's why I started blogging about books. I want to share some of my favorite books with you. Maybe you'll like them, maybe you wont. Either way, it took you away form your worries for a short period of time, and that all I want to accomplish. Hopefully you will share some of you're favorites with me. I'm always looking for another good book.
