Review

I have been trying to read The Vampire Diaries:The Return: Nightfall for four days now, and I just can't do it. I have only made it to chapter seven, but I am giving up. This Book is nothing like the first four, and it's filled with errors. At least I think. Almost every other paragraph I have to re-read what I just read because it doesn't make any sense. This book isn't worth the time or money. Good thing I checked it out from the library. I would have demanded my money back if I bought it.

Bloodfever by Karen Marie Moning

I got the first book free from Barnes & Noble, and it just sucked me in. This series is like a drug to me, I try to read only a little bit at a time. but that doesn't work. It's page after page because I cant get enough, then it's over, and I'm sad. So I go onto the next book vowing to myself only a couple chapters at a time. And we all know how that ends. Needless to say, I love this Series! I'm so glad I found it! I love all the twists and turns, the little bits of romance, and how Mac is turning from a child into a woman. It has been a fun journey and i hope it never ends. Now off to the third book!

The Vampire Diaries

Ever since Twilight, I just can't get enough of the vampire books. I was searching and asking friends for any recommendations about vampire books that resembled the Twilight saga. A friend told me about the Sookie Stackhouse series. She said they were way better than Twilight so I had to get them. I ordered the 8 volume set and read them in a week. I liked the books, they weren't better than Twilight in my opinion, but they were more grown-up, and that's what I liked about them. The show, on the other hand, is just okay for me. I think they should have stuck closer to the books.
But anyways, back on topic, I read the Vampire Diaries over a year ago and the books didn't really appeal to me. I thought it was lacking in detail and plot. It didn't make me want to keep reading. Then I found out it was going to be a T.V. show. Even though I didn't like the books I was going to give the show a try because I used to watch Degrassi and Nina Dobrev played in it. Anyways, I think the Show is WAY better than the books. But I am in love with Stefan on the show. I think CW did him justice. I love the mystery and the darkness of him but he's not afraid to show that he loves Elena. And I found on Harper Teen, you can read the first 7 chapters of Stefan's Diaries for free! It's based on the books and the show combined! I'm excited to read it! I haven't read The Return series yet. (I don't know if I want to pay $10 a piece for the books when the first ones weren't that good.) What do you think?  Have you read The Vampire Diaries? Do you watch the show? How do feel about the book compared to the show? Leave me a comment telling me what you think.

Crave by J.R. Ward

Crave is the second novel in the Fallen Angels series. It was a pretty good read, nothing compared to the first novel though. This book seemed very slow to me, I couldn't get into it until towards the end, then it picked up the pace. I think I'm starting to like the fallen Angels. I think Adrian is going to be my favorite. He has a secret, and I hope we find out more about him soon. At the end of Covet, Jim had to find and kill Issac Rothe, a soldier who went AWOL from XOps. Little does he know that's also his next mission to save the world. Its not hard to find him though, Issac gets arrested for illegal cage fighting. He gets a Court-Ordered attorney, which is the beautiful Grier Childe. And she is determined to help Issac if he wants it or not. She goes as far a paying for his bail. Then the sparks fly between the two, which ends in a night of passion that makes Isaac re-think leaving. Then Grier has a frightening encounter with Matthias, and Isaac realizes he must protect her, even as Jim urges him to get out of town. Who will win this war between good and evil? Read and find out. This is going to be a great Series!
