Synopsis
Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows he is her ideal mate . . . until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black. The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.
Review
This is a very good book. I love the world Ally created. Everyone has made a big stink about her book copying The Giver. I read it in 5th grade, which is a long time ago but I still read it. maybe I would have to read it again to catch it but I didn't catch any similarities except for their perfect world falling apart. Mrs. Condie described her world so well I saw it playing through my head like a movie.
I was kind of disappointed that Cassia chose Ky instead of Xander. I didn't understand why she was so fascinated with him. I guess the mystery of him but still. How can she all of the sudden just stop talking to Xander?
In a way I want her to find Ky and save him but I really want her to choose Xander. I don't know why I'm so attached to Xander, theres just something about him..
For those of you who have read this book, How did you feel about the Xander/Ky situation? Who do you think she should choose and why?

I've seen this book a lot, but I never even bothered to read it before. I love the cover, and it sounds really good!
